Odyssey Mini Gels are polyacrylamide gels designed to separate a wide range of protein sizes via PAGE or SDS-PAGE. Each box contains 10 pre-cast gels. They also run at neutral pH, which minimizes protein modification compared to Tris-glycine gels. Odyssey Mini Gels are available in several gradients with 10, 12, or 15 numbered wells. Our gels feature a shelf life of up to 6 months at room temperature and 12 months at 2–8C.

Odyssey Transfer Buffer Powder is formulated for transferring Odyssey Mini Gels and similar bis-tris gels to membranes following PAGE and SDS-PAGE. Each box includes 10 individual packs of powder. Reconstitute each pack with 900 ml deionized water, then add 100mL of either methanol or ethanol to make 1X transfer buffer. Do not use acid or base to adjust the pH.

Ideal for excitation of nucleic acids with UV or visible blue light transilluminators. Non mutagenic and does not require special methods of disposal. LD emits green fluorescence when bound to dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA. PS (Pre Stain) can be used as a direct replacement for Ethidium Bromide in agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The stain emits green fluorescence when bound to dsDNA or ssDNA and emits red fluorescence when bound to RNA. PS exhibits excitation peaks at 290nm and 490nm, allowing it to be used with UV and blue light.

Intact Genomics Agrobacterium tumefaciens AGL1 (AGL-1) ElectroCompetent cells are optimized for the highest transformation efficiencies which is ideal for applications requiring high transformation efficiencies, such as with cDNA or gDNA library construction. AGL1 electroporation cells with a binary vector allows for subsequent Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of Arabidopsis thaliana and other plants.The AGL1 strain has a C58 chromosomal background that carries an insertion mutation in its recA recombination gene which stabilizes recombinant plasmids. It also carries rifampicin and carbenicilin resistance in its genome for selection. AGL1 contains the Ti plasmid pTiBO542 from which the T-DNA region sequences have been deleted. Transformation with a binary vector containing the missing T-region results in a functional T-DNA binary system that allows for transfer of genetic material into a host plant’s genome.
